What once started as a CrossFit gym in a 2-stall New Hartford garage in 2011 has evolved to the fitness powerhouse that is Mohawk Valley Wellness. Voted “Best of the Best” gym by the Utica Observer-Dispatch in 2018, Mohawk Valley Wellness truly has grown to become the most successful fitness facility in the Central New York area.

I was approached by John Bartholomeo, owner in 2011 with his idea to start up a small gym with dreams of evolving and competing with the numerous other fitness facilities in the Utica area. John wanted an aggressive and memorable logo for what would be known as CrossFit Mohawk Valley.

Shortly after outgrowing the garage, and quickly becoming too popular for their second location in Yorkville, CrossFit Mohawk Valley moved to a 5000+ square foot facility and rebranded as Mohawk Valley Wellness. Not only does Mohawk Valley Wellness offer CrossFit classes, but they have added classes for all ages, body types, and skill levels.

Mohawk Valley Wellness has seen major growth since utilizing marketing materials from McGrogan Design. Starting with the original CrossFit Mohawk Valley logo in 2011, to the library of class logos under the Mohawk Valley Wellness brand in 2018, and everything in between - McGrogan Design has provided business cards, brochures, t-shirts, awards, websites, and more to help Mohawk Valley Wellness to truly become the best of the best.
