Utica’s favorite coffee shop was started in 2002 and has grown to be one of the city’s most vibrant and warm cafe’s in the city. Their approach is simple: use the highest quality coffee available, roast it in small batches for the retail and wholesale market, and adhere to business principles that embrace the culture, history, and vibe of our region.

I began working with Utica Coffee Roasting Company in 2019 with a goal to give a fresh eye on packaging & their in-store displays. Utica Coffee had always used an agency for their graphic design work, but after many years with the same company, they were looking for a change in direction.

Since transitioning to using McGrogan Design as their primary source of graphic design work, together we have transformed their brand look for Utica Coffee Roasting Company and Wake The Hell Up! With all new packaging, labels, interior signage, many collectors mugs, flyers, social posts, and much more - McGrogan Design is the perfect fit for this company which doesn’t have a designer on staff, and realized an agency isn’t always the best solution.
